Whether we like to admit it or not, life is not a Hallmark movie. Real life is never picture perfect, it's messy. We often get caught up in the trap of comparing ourselves to others. Their kids are better behaved than mine, their marriage is more perfect than mine, their life is everything mine is not. Social media just makes this worse, where everyone shows only the idyllic bits of life, never the messy and crusty side that everyone has.

We often feel like we don't measure up to this standard of everyone else. We feel like we'll never be good enough, like we aren't loved, and we aren't worthy of being loved. The truth is though, none of us have it all figured out, none of us have it all together. We all have those times when we feel like we're barely holding on by our fingertips, and at any moment, we could lose our grip and fall into the pit of despair. We start to listen to the devil's lies and lose sight of our true identity…we are beloved daughters of God the Father.

The Father's heart is bursting with love just for you. He loves you unconditionally and completely. God doesn't compare us to others, He just wants to offer you his Mercy and His Love.
