We each have different veils that cloud our sight. For some it is the darkness of despair, hopelessness which steals the joy of life. Some of us are trapped in our sin, mired in shame and guilt. For some it is the noise of the world, confusion that keep us from embracing our true identity as women. For others it is pain from wounds both in our bodies and our hearts.

The enemy has taken advantage of our wounds, and placed lies in our path, like traps hidden in the grass. You have to be perfect, you have to have it all together, you have to accomplish everything on your own, and if you can't, you're weak. The world has tried to enforce its own vision of what it means to be a modern woman, and blind us to the beauty of God's plan for womanhood.

Paul was blinded by the lies he'd come to believe, but through faith, the scales that obscured his vision were removed and his sight restored. The Lord wants the same for each one of us. He hungers for us to accept His healing, His mercy, He yearns to remove the scales from our eyes. It's time to reveal the devil's lies, and cast off the veils that blind us. Embrace faith in Jesus Christ, embrace the love and mercy that He thirsts to offer you. Embrace the Father's love for you and let the veil be lifted.
